Katayon Haghighi is Consultant at Ahoora Foundation. Ahoora Foundation top concerns are global focus on STEM Education and expanding the culture of social entrepreneurship in developing countries. Through Foundation partnership with ASHOKA (Innovators for Public), she supports the Middle-East outreach for Changemakers (an initiative of ASHOKA).
Previously she was a research assistant at Concordia and McGill University working on projects related to economy and culture of Iran. Prior to her research position she was a TV executive producer for scientific programs and a high school physics teacher, both in her native city Tehran. She has earned a BS degree in Applied Physics from Sharif Industrial University in Tehran, Iran and a BA in Anthropology from Universite de Montreal, Montreal, Canada.
